CITY OF PLYMOUTH
call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of
1986. The following members were present: mayor Schneider,
were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-564
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT 647 - MEDICINE LAKE FISH BARRIER
WHEP.EAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on August 4, 1986,
the Consulting Engineer, Barr Engineering Company, has prepared plans and
specifications with respect for improvement of Plymouth Creek by the
construction of a Fish Barrier approximately 600 feet downstream of 26th
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plana and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for one day, shall specify
the vork to be done, shall state that bids will be received by
the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m, on Tuesday, September 23,
1986, at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager
and that no bids will he considered unless sealed and filed
with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Coancilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmemb rs Crain_ Sieh
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
