CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 8th day
of September , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-556
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 542
OLIVE LANE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 8, 1986 the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the
following improvements:
Olive Lane between County Road 6 and 14th Avenue North
by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and watermain services, storm
sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 29th day of September, 1986 in the
City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such
proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning
property affected by such improvement will be given an
opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the
hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the
official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and
shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The
Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of
each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayer Schneider, Councilmembers Crain.
Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
