HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-555t 17 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of September , 1986. The following members were present: mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 555 RESOLUTION DELARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT OLIVE LANE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 542 WHEREAS, bids have been let for the improvement of: Olive Lane between County Road 6 and 14th Avenue North by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $118,613.24 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $17,086.45 so the total cost of the improvement will be $135,699.69 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF . PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $135,699.64. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
