Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 8th

RESOLUTION NO. 86-547
DENYING REQUEST FOR GAMBLING LICENSE
WEST MEDICINE LAKE COMMUNITY CLUB
WHEREAS, the City has received notice of an application from the West Medicine
Lake Community Club to the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board to renew
their Class B license to operate raffles, paddlewheels, tipboards, and pull -tabs
for another year; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request for
approval of a charitable gambling license for the following reasons:
1. Section 1210.15 Subdivision 5 of the Plymouth City Code prohibits gambling
devices or gambling from facilities licensed for liquor sales of any type.
2. And further, that the West Medicine Lake Community Club is licensed for
consumption and display of liquor and on -sale non -intoxicating liquor.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, We-
