CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of
August , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
The following members were absent:
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0, 86-525
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1
FERNBROOK LANE/T.H. 55 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 604
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been prepared providing for the following:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This work shall include the installation of an 8' wide bituminous
and 6' wide concrete trail along the West side of Fernbrook Lane
together with the necessary storm sewer to correct a drainage
problem in the Northeast corner of the parking lot adjacent to
Fernbrook Lane. All of the appropriate specifications regarding
materials, quality control, mechanical compaction, installation and
other items from the original contract shall apply to this work.
The total estimated cost of Change Order No. 1 is $9,234.00.
AND, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 for Fernbrook Lane/T.H. 55 Intersection
Improvements contract Project 604 is recommended for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that Change Order No. 1 for the Fernbrook Lane/T.H. 55
Intersection Improvements and contract for Project 604 adding $9,234.00 is
hereby approved.
Original Contract Amount $ 64,787.75
Previous Change Orders 0.00
THIS CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 - ADD 9,234.00
REVISED CONTRACT AMO►INT..... $ 74,021.75
FURTHER, that the funding for Change Order No. 1 be transferred from the Public
Works Reserve Fund (205-205) to the Construction Fund (401-401 - Project 601)
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
