HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-518CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of August , 1986. The following members were present: Payor Schneider, Councimembers rain, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-518 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND MERRY MIDDLEMIST ADDITION (81055) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated January 13, 1983, Beverly H. Lillyblad, Duane Lillyblad, Helen M. Fries, Robert Middlemist, Jr. and Merry Middlemist, developer of Merry Middlemist Addition (81055) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF K�IMOUTH that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: ITEM Street Construction Sanitary Sewer Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevar3 and Drainage Swale Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Site Grading and Drainage Improvements Park and Trail Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $ 42,750 $ 4,275 22,450 -0- 22,250 -0- 5,675 -0- 4,400 -0- -0- -0- 150 -0- 1,000 -0- TOTAL 3,000 -0- 15,000 -0- -0- -0- 14,001 -0- $ 130,676 $ 4,275 That the letter of credit required previously reduced from $7,275 to $4,275 remain at $4,275 to' ra±fleet the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted as of August 25, 1986 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. Resolution No. 86- 518 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to the developer's request a 10% retainer will be held in the required development bond for the street construction and concrete curb and gutter in lieu of the required maintenance bond, The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider_ Councilmembere Crain Vasiliou._and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
