HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-517CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota Was field on the 25th day of August , 1986. The following members were present: ay0r Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur _ The following members were absent: Councllmember Sisk Counciimember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-517 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND MISSION TRAILS ADDITION (85091) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated September 18, 1985, Lundgren Brothers Construction, Inc., developer of Mission Trails Addition (85091) has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the bonding requirements are! reduced as follows: 0 ITEM Street Construction Sanitary Sewer Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevard and Drainage Swa'.e Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Site Grading and Drainage Improvements Park and Trail Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts TOTAL ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT $ 69,500 $13,900 53,500 -0- 45,700 -0- 29,000 500 6,000 6,000 -0- -0- 600 600 -0- -0- 5,892 5,892 25.223 3.227 $235,415 $30,119 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $98,708 to $30,119 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: ITEM Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Street Sweeping and Storm Sewer Cleaning ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Included in Grading Permit No. 85701090 Resolution No. 86-517 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer construction is accepted as of August 25, 1986 for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the developer. i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: yor----Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution vaa declared duly passed and adopted.
