Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on We' 25th
day of Au st , 19 86 . The following mem ers were
present hnelder, Councilmembers Cra n-, Vasiliou, and Zitur
TWe—olowing members were absent: Councilmember Sisk
Counclimember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-514
APPROVING REQUEST FOR GAMBLING LICENSE
ST. MARY'S OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH
WHEREAS, the City has received notice of an application from St. Mary's of the
Lake Catholic Church to the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board to
operate a raffle; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted an investigation and found no
reason to deny the application, and the Council has reviewed the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for
a charitable gambling license for St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, tie
following vot n favor thereof: yor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
