Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of
August , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
ounce mem ers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Clone
Courciimember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-504
ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WELL NO. 8 AND NO. 9
CITY PROJECT NO. 625
WHEREAS, the City has received a Preliminary Engineering Report for Wells 8 and
9 to expand the Ci[y's water supply system; and
WHEREAS, a test well drilling program was conducted at three alternate well
field sites; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that Wells 8 and 9 be located at the Zachary
Playfield site; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications are needed for Wells 8 and 9.
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. is designated as the
Consulting Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the
drilling and location of Wells 8 and 9 at the Zachary Playfield site.
The wells are to be drilled into the Prairie du Chien/Jordan
Acquifers with one constructed for easy retrofitting to the Mt.
Simon/Hinkley Acquifer.
2. That the City Manager is directed and authorized to enter into an
Engineering Agreement for said services.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
