HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-498CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular eeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of Au ust , 1986. The following members were present: Playor Schneider, Counci mem ers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its ado ----ion: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 498 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - DEERWOOD GLEN PLAT I WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Westwood Planning and Engineering Company requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in Deerwood Glen Plat I; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Deerwood Glen Plat I by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on August 18, 1986 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recom.ended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, �siliou, and Zitur 'liie following voted against or abstained: none Whereupen the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
