Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of
August , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur

Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-497
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
COUNTY ROAD 15 (GLEASON LAKE DRIVE) TRAIL AND TURN LANES
PROJECT NO. 602
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on June 13, 1986 the City's
Consulting Engineer, Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc., has prepared plans and
specifications for the improvement of County Road 15 (Gleason Lake Drive) by the
addition of a trail and turn lanes and has presented such plans and specifications
to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement
for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
• once, shall specify the vork to be done, shall state that bids
will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,
September 11, 1986, at which time they will be publicly opened
in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City
Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City
Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
3. That financing for the project be as follows:
Storm Sewer:
Minnehaha Creek Storm Sewer District (215-215) $ 27,300
Turn Lanes: Minnesota State Aid Fund (402-402) 59,500
Trail: Construction Fund (401 - Proj. 543) 28,000
Park Dedication Fund (218-218) 29,000
Construction Fund (401 - Proj. 629) 30,000
Public Works Reserve Fund (205-205) 22,700
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none

Whereupon the Resolution was declared ruly passed and adopted.
