Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _fig„lar meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4rh day
. of August , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Crain
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-480
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - ZACHARY HILLS 4TH ADDITION/PHASE 2
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Mary Anderson Homes, Inc. requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Zachary Hills 4th
Addition/Phase 2;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Zachary Hills 4th
Addition/Phase 2 by the installation of residential ornamental
street lighting, filed with the City Council on August 4, 1986 is
hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and
they have waived their rights to public improvement and special
assessment hearines.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
-Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Sisk,
Vasiliou. and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
