Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day
of July , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86.443
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN
PROPOSED S. J. GROVES OFFICE PARK
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Ryan Construction Company has petitioned
the City Council for the vacation of the following utility and street
easements:
1. That part of 8th Avenue from Nathan Lane to the East property
line of Lot 9, Plymouth Gardens Addition, extended South.
2. That part of 9th Avenue from Nathan Lane to the East property
line of Lot 20, Plymouth Gardens Addition, extended South.
3. The Easterly one half of all of Nathan Lane within Plymouth
Gardens Addition from the North property line extended West of
Lot 15, Plymouth Gardens to the South right-of-way line of 9th
Avenue and all of Nathan Lane from the South right-of-way line of
9th Avenue to the South right--of-way line of 8th Avenue.
4. A permanent easement for street, utility and drainage over that
part of the most Easterly 36 feet of the following described
parcel; that part of the said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter which lies Southerly of a line 691.50 feet Southerly of,
measured at a right angle to and parallel with the North line of
said Southwest Quarter cf the Northeast Quarter and lying
Easterly of a line 506.91 feet Westerly of, measured at a right
angle to and parallel wi`h East line of said Southwest Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter. And also, a permanent easement for
utility purposes over, under, across and through the North 30
feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, lying
Northwesterly of the Northwesterly right-of-way line of State
Highway No. 55, Hennepin County, Minnesota except the Westerly 30
feet thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should ana hereby does establish the date of
August 4, 1986 at 7:30 p.m, in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard as the time ant place for the public hearing on said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing
as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
