HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-432CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of July 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Council■embers Vasiliou, Zitur, Sisk and Crain _ he following members were absent: None �t Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-432 DECLARING FINDING OF NO NEED FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (EIS) BASED UPON THE REVIEW OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSSESSMENT WORKSHEET (EAW) DATED MAY 21, 1986 FOR I-494/COUNTY ROAD 6 INTERCHANGE, PROJECT No. 250 WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB) Rule No. 6 MCAR S -3.038U.3, the Environmental Review Process, the City of Plymouth as the responsible governmental unit, submitted an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the I-494/County Road 6 Interchange on May 23, 1986; and, WHEREAS, the 30 -day review comment period expired on July 2, 1986, and all comments and recommendations received from reviewing agencies and other Interested parties have been considered; and, WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed Project does not present a potential for significant environmental effects; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does make a negative declaration on the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Interchange at I-494/County Road 6. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council■ember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the old lowing voted In Favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Counci me bars Crain_ Sisk. Ine ronowing voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
