Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpaiilar meeting of. the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the ?lct day of
' July , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor_ Schneider,
Councilmemberc Crain, Sisk_ Vaciliou, and Zitijr
The following members were absent: nnnP
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-416
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PAINTING AND MAINTENANCE OF MIP WATER STORAGE TOWER
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received a recommendation from AEC - Engineers
and Designers on necessary painting and maintenance work on the MIP Water Storage
Tower;
WHEREAS, funds for such work has been provided within the 1986 Water Fund Budget;
and
WHEREAS, in order to proceed with the recommendations, it is necessary to
authorize preparation of plans and specifications and the receipt of bids for the
proposed maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That AEC - Engineers and Designers are authorized to proceed with the
preparation of plans and specifizations and the receipt of bids for the painting
and repair of the MIP Water Storage Tower in accordance with their proposal dated
July 16, 1986. Such maintenance work is Eo be undertaken and completed during the
fall of 1986.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:
,Ta Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou,
and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
