Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,s meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the ith day of
.luly 1986. The following members were present: mayor Sell;-jeider.

The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou
Councilmember Sisk introduced the foli,ving Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-408
AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
WITH CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS FOR
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT IN COOPERATION WITH THE U.S. CORPS OF ARMY ENGINEERS
WHEREAS, the Bassett Creek Water Management Commission has ordered the
construction of and improvement in cooperation with the U.S. Corps of Army
Engineers; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is a member of the Bassett Creek Water Management
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Bassett Creek Water Management Commission has designated the City of
Minneapolis to be the contracting agency for said project; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 471.59 and Chapters 429 and 475 provide that
two or more governmental units may enter into a cooperative agreement; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed agreement has been submitted to this Council for
review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the proposed
agreement for a construction project in cooperation with the U.S. Corps of Army
Engineers with the City of Minneapolis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the funds for the project in accordance with the
agreement be provided from the Bassett Creek Storm Sewer Improvement Tax District.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayorchneider, Councilmembers Crain, Si -,V', and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
