HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-3960 CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of 3uly 1986. The following members were present:Ma or Schneider—,?aSisk and Zitur de following members were absent:Councilmember Vasillou tares �r +rir* Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-396 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ROBERT A. SCHMITT FOR AN AMATEUR RADIO TOWER (86066) WHEREAS, Robert A. Schmitt has requested a Conditional Use Permit to erect an amateur radio tower at 11200 48th Avenue North; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public hsaring and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Robert A. Schmitt, for a Conditional Use Permit to erect an amateur radio tower that exceeds the 35 ft. Ordinance height standard in the R -1A toning District at 11200 48th Avenue North, subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. 2. The permit is issued to the petitioner and shall not be transferable. 3. There shall be no signage allowed on the tower. 4. The permit shall be renewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions. 5. Maximum tower height approved is 48 ft.; maximum antenna height is 1.5 ft., for a total height of 49.5 ft. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ouncilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following oted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. and Zitur voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
