HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-392CITY OF PLYMOUTH PWrsuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of 3uly . 1986. The following members were present:Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, and MAW The following members were absent:Councilmember Vasillou Counclimember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-392 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR STEVE KOLLINS, TRUCK PARTS & SERVICE, INC. (86062) WHEREAS, Steve Koilins, Truck Parts & Service, Inc., has requested a Conditional Use Permit to allow retail sales in the Industrial District at 12873 Industrial Park Blvd; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Steve Kollins, Truck Parts & Service, Inc., for a Conditional Use Permit to allow retail sales in the Industrial District at 12873 Industrial Park Blvd., subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. 2. The permit i's issued to the tenant as operator of the facility and shall not be transferable. 3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner. 4. Any signage shall conform with the City Ordinance standards. 5. There shall be no signage allowed on the property relative to the retail sales. 6. There shall be no outside display, sales, or storage of merchandise or related materials. 7. The permit shall be renewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions. 8. All parking shall be off-street in designated areas which comply with the Zoning Ordinance. 9. Advertising related to retail sales shall not be directed to the general public. 10. Approval is based on the finding that the activity is consistent with the Con- ditional Use Standards in the I-1 District; i.e. in this case, the nature of the product and business do not generate traffic associated with typical retail sales. • The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councthnsiber Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: yor. .der. Councilmombers Crain. Sisk. and Mur voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
