Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of June 19U.

RESOLUTION NO. 86 - 388
DETERMINATION OF AUDIT ENTITY FOR PURPOSES OF AUDITING ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTS OF
HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (HRA)
WHEREAS, the Federal Single Audit Act of 198P (Public Law 98-502) and Office of
Management and Budget Circular No. A-128 set forth audit requirements for local
governments that receive federal aid; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose of this is to encourage consolidation of auditing activities to
assure a more efficient and economical audit performance; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth annually contracts a qualified professional independent
auditor; and,
WHEREAS, funds for Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) activities come from and
through the City of Plymouth except fc_ the Section 8 Rent Assistance Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevc )pment Authority has by Resolution deter-
mined that for purposes of the independent audit, the City of Plymouth is the approp-
riate governmental reporting entity;
NOW, -HEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does find that for purposes of the independent
audit and in conjunction with the Federal Single Audit Act of 1984, the City of
Plymouth is the appropriate governmental reporting entity;
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the required .independent audit of Housing and Redevel-
opmen*. Authority (HRA) activities and accounts should be conducted by the Independent
auditor contracted by the City.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _
_ Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider Councilmember CrainSisk, Vasij;qu. and
Zturhe following
voted against or abstained: none whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
