HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-385CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the C'ty Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86- 385 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF STREET AND UTILITY EASEMENTS LAKE PARR HEIGHTS ADDITIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the developer of Lake Park Heights Addition has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street and utility easements: Description of Parcel: That part of the South 200 feet of the South 15 acres of the North 20 acres of Government Lot 2, in Section 24, Township 118, Range 22, to -w=t: beginning at the Southeast corner of the North 20 acres of said Government Lot 2, Section 24, Township 118, Range 22, thence West a distance of 943.8 feet to a point, thence North and parallel to the East line of said Government Lot 2, a distance of 200 feet; thence East 943.6 feet more less to the East line of said Government Lot 2; thence South along the East line of said Government Lot 2 to the point of beginning. Descrivtion of Easements: EW A permanent easement for strut and utility purposes over, under, across and through a strip of land 60 feet wide, 30 feet on either side of that portion of the below described line which is contained within the above parcel: Commencing at a point on the West line of the Stensrud Addition 30 feet North to the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, Stensrud Addition, thence westerly along the extension of the center line of 31st Avenue for a distance of 109.96 feet to a point of curvature, thence deflecting to the Southwest drug a tangential curve having a radius of 100 feet and a central angle of 90 degrees n1' and 28" to the point of tangency, thence southerly parallel to the West line of Stensrud Addition to the North line of Timber Creek Addition and there terminating. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council hae reviewed said request end found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF :,LYMOUTH that it shouldand hereby does, establish the date of July 21, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs th administrative staff to publish notict of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmember Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none 4 %reupon the Resolution was declared j►ly passed and adopted.
