Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of
. June , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-369
ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
COUNTY ROAD 15 TRAIL AND TURN -LANES
PROJECT 602
WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered the preparation of an engineering report
to determine the feasibility of the construction of a trail on County Road 15
from Vicksburg Lane to I-494 (Project 602); and
WHEREAS, the City's consulting engineers, Short, Elliott, Hendricksen, Inc.
have prepared and submitted said report, dated January 29, 1986, to this
Council, which report indicates that such a trail is feasible;
WHEREAS, said report was received by the City Council on March 3, 1986 and the
Council held a Public Information Hearing on June 23, 1986;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
10 PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that the consulting engineers be authorized and directed
to proceed with the preparations of final plans and specifications for said
trail as follows:
1. Alternate 1 (Detached Trail)
2. Turning Lanes at Niagara Lane and Vicksburg Lane
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Staff is to report to the City Council on
proposed financing.
The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
