Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day
of June , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,
Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 368
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN
SCHIEBE'S BUSINESS PARR ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage and utility
easements on Lots 5 b 6, Block 1, Schiebe's Business Park Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June
23, 1986 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of June 23, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 23, 1986 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said easement on Lots 5
and 6, Block 1, Schiebe's Business Park Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following drainage and utility easements be
vacated:
All that part of the East six (6) feet of Lot Six (6) and the West
six (6) feet of Lot Five (5), Block One (1), Schiebe's Business
Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying South of a line parallel to
and ten (10) feet South of the North line of said Lots Five (5) and
six (6), and lying North of a line parallel to and six (6) feet
North of the South line of said Lots Five (5) and Six (6).
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
