Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,a rpoi,]ar _ meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day
of June , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor S hn id r^
Councilmembers Crain. Vasilinu, and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilmember Sisk
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-357
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR
RECYCLING PROGRAM FUNDING
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has in existence a program for funding assistance to
Municipalities for Solid Waste Source Separation Programs; and
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth has applied to Hennepin County for 50% funding of
its Recycling Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Hennepin County to obtain said 50% cost sharing of
the City's Recycling Program.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Vasiliou, and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
