to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 2nd day of
, 1986. The following members were present--

owing members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 346
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
HIGHWAY 55/FERNBROOR LANE - INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 604
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on February 24, 1986
the City's Consulting Engineer, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc., has prepared plans
and specifications for the improvement of the intersection of Highway
55/Fernbrook Lane by adding additional turn lanes on Fernbrook Lane and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached
. hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be
rece�_ved by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,
June 26, 1986 at which time they will be publicly opened in
the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at
3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City
Manager and the City Engineer and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent
of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the
. following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
