. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of May . 1%�6.
The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The
following members were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-300
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BOARNAN ARCHITECTS
TO COMPLETE PHASE ONE NEED ANALYSIS FOR FIRE STATION NO. 3.
WHEREAS, the City Council was represented by the mwjority of its members on the
selection committee for an architect for Fire Station III, and
WHEREAS, the councilmembers on this Ad Hoc committee decided to choose Boarman
Architects Incorporated as the architect for Fire Station III; but, only after
an analysis determined a need for a third station, and
• WHEREAS, Boarman Architects Incorporated has prepared a workscope and contract
incorporating theee separate and distinct phases of work requiring council
approval after the completion of each phase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City entered i:ito a contract with Boarman Architects to complete
Phase I (the needs analysis).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the results of the needs analysis be reported to the City
Council prior to any further consideration of services of Boarman Architerts
Incorporated.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:or, ayc neider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk,
Vasiliou and Zitur he following
voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
