Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day
of May , 1986. The following members were present:
mayor c nes er, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zi ur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 282
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN
LOT 5, BLOCK 3, PLYMOUTH PLAZA 5TH ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of the drainage and
utility easement on the North side of Lot 5, Block 3, Plymouth Plaza 5th
Addition was received by the Council on April 28, 1986, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May
19, 1986 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of May 19, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 19, 1986 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said easement; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said utility and drainage
easement described below was not needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following is a description of the vacation of
certain drainage and utility easement:
The South four feet of the North ten feet of Lot 5, Block 3,
Plymouth Plaza 5th Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except the
West ten feet and the East ten feet thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cejn-ilmpmher Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider Co ncilmembers Crain
Sick_ _Vaeilieu and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
