Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day
of May 1986. The following members were present:

The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-280
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF SIGHT EASEMENT
LOT 24, BLOCK 1, CREEKWOOD HILLS 3RD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain sight easements on Lot 24,
Block 1, Creekwood Hills 3rd Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May
19, 1986 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of May 19, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 19, 1986 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said sight easement on
Lot 24, Block 1, Creekwood Hills 3rd Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following sight easement be vacated:
Commencing at a point along the Southerly right-of-way line of the
Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railway distant 33 feet
West of the intersection of said right-of-way line with the East line
of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 11; thence South along a
line parallel to the East line of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said
Section 11 a distance of 150 feet; thence Northwesterly on a straight
line to a point in said Southerly right-of-vay line distant 150 feet
West of the point of beginning; thence East along said Southerly
right-of-way line to the point of beginning.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopcid.
