The following members were present: MavQr Schneider Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were sent: none Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 86-272 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR PROJECT 531 - PARKERS LAKE CITY PARK PHASE I WHEREAS, the City's consulting engineer, Brauer and Associates, has preparl-d plans and specifications for Parkers Lake City Park including such things as bituminous paving, grading, beach preparation, picnic shelter and all necessary additional work, and WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RTSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that: 1. Such plans and specificat_nns, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the makin.i of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City of Plymouth until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 1986, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and the Director of Parks and Recreation and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified , check payable to the City Clerk for five percent (57) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ouncilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken theli0n the . fol votedavoT ereo : Mayor Schneider, C-ouncilmembers Cha n, disk. yasiliou and Zitur 11w 10110 ring votes against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared may Wsed aW adopted.
