HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-269CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of —may , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-269 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE SKID STEER LOADER WHEREAS, $20,000 has been budgeted for the purchase of one four wheel drive Skid Steer Loader in the 1986 budget; and WHEREAS, such equipment is required to adequately maintain the City's Public Property; and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid specifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on April 28, 1986; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: Case Power and Equipment $ 15,559.00 Long Lake Ford Tractor 15,979.00 Lano Equipment 15,717.10 Scharber and Sons 16,686.00 WHEREAS, the bid of Case Power and Equipment is in conformance with City specifications for this equipment and Case Power and Equipment is therefore decla:ad the lowest responsible bigger; WHEREAS, an optional equipment quotation for cab and heater, forks and U Bucket was also received as requested and received in the amount of $3,111.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Case Power and Equipment in the amount of $18,673.00 and, further that funds for this purchase are authorized from Account No. 602-531-921. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember I.itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted is favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers _Crain, Sisk, Vasiiiou and Zitur ne following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. +k'kir vink�k ak�k�r
