HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-267CITY OF PLYNOWN Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of May , 1986 . The following members were present: Mayor Schneider Councilmembers Crain Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none fff f3. ♦�R Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86267 CONCURRENCE WITH TURNBACK OF COUNTY ROAD 15 AND REDESIGNATION OF COUNTY ROAD 61 NOT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that Plymouth concurs with revocation of a portion of present Canty State Aid Highway 15 (Waymouth Road) beginning at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 15 and Vicksburg Lane said intersection located approximately 95 feet north of the southeast corner of Section 32, Township 118, Range 22, thence easterly and northeasterly along Waymouth Road across Section 33, 341 and 35 Township 118, Range 22 to the intersection with County State Aid Highway 73 (Zachary Lane) said intersection located approximately 240 feet south of the a.st quarter corner of said Section 35 and there terminating, all within the City of Plymouth, as described within Commissioner of Transportation Order No. 27 36 8, dated April 15, 1958 and Canmissioner of Transportation Order No. 67414 dated January 6, 1983, and that this roadway be returned to the City of Plymouth to be under the City's jurisdiction as a municipal street; and, BE a PORTHEB RAVED, That the City Council of the City of Plymouth ooncurs with revocation of a portion of present County State Aid Highway 61 (Plymouth Road) beginning at a ;Dint on the south line of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22, said point located on the south limits of the City of Plymouth, approximately 900 feet east of the south quarter corner of said Section 34, thence northerly along Plymouth Road to the intersection with Waymouth Road and there terminating, all within the City of Plymouth, and that this roadway be returned to the City of Plymouth to be under the City's jurisdiction as a mmicipal street; and, BE 1T P[lR'1'HER REEVED, That the City Council of the City of Plymouth concurs with redesignating County State Aid Highway 61 along the new alignment begim►ing at a point on the south limits of Plymouth, said point located on the south line of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22 approximately 100 feet east of the south quarter comer of said Section 34 thence northerly along the new alignment to the intersection with Weymouth Road, said intersection located approximately 1130 feet north and 400 feet west of the south quarter corner of said Section 34, and there terminate the redesignation all within the City of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
