HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-260CITY OF PLYNOM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of May 1966. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider�ounciImembers Crain, _ .Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Reso!utlen and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-260 APPROVING SITE PLAN AND VARIANCES FOR KRAUS-ANDERSON REALTY COMPANY FOR HONEYWELL, INC. (86036) WHEREAS, Kraus -Anderson Realty Company has requested approval of a Site Plan and Vari- ances for Honeywell, Inc., for the construction of an approximate 42,350 sq. ft. office building southeast of Ninth Avenue and Forestview Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Kraus -Anderson Realty Company for a Site Plan and Variances for Honeywell, Inc. for the construction of an office building southeast of Ninth Avenue and Forestview Lane, subjectto the following conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum . 2. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication in accordance with the Dedi- cation -Policy in effect at the time of Building Permit issuance. 3. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreeiient for com- pletion of site improvements. 4. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 5. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the enclosure and no outside storage is permitted. 6. No Building Permit to be issued until the Lot Consolidation is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. 7. Approved Variances include building setback of 39 ft. vs. 75 ft. to the south property line considering future commercial zoning of the property adjacent to the south; and for the setback of the building canopy on the north side to the adjac- ent parking area considering the overall aesthetic improvement; design of this building; and, that the design does not obstruct pedestrian safety. 8. Approval includes the deferral of constructing eight parking stalls. Should the City determine these stalls are needed, they shall be constructed in accordance with the approved site plan. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly axxmded by _ Councilmember Zitur and upon vote being taken thereon, the following Voted n favor thereof: Mayor Schneider.
