HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-247CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Spprial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 9Rth day of April , 1986. The following members were present: The following members were absent: nnnp Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 247 ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAYS WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota that the Stre-t hereinafter described should be designated a Municipal State Aid street under the provisions of Minnesota Laws of 1967, Chapter 162: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, COUNTY OF HENNEPIN, that the road described as follows, to -wit; Fernbrook Lane from County Road 6 to County Road 15 be, and hereby is established, located, and designated a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to the approval of the Cosissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Highways for his consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion thereof, that the same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Plymouth, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Street. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain_ Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
