HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-235CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a RBauld,�^ meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of April , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider- Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasilinu and 7itur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 235 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING REMODELING WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Public Works Building Remodeling; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company W.H. Cates Berg Associates Morcon Construction TCM Construction Gem Construction David Volkmann Const. ABJ Enterprises E.D.S. Construction CKC Construction Merrimac Construction Du -Mark Construction Brovold/Larson Bldra. Cates of Plymouth, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with W.H. Cates in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Public Works Building Remodeling in the amount of $53,540.00, which includes Alternate No. 1 and 2. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shail be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmemher 7itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maynr Schnpidpr, Cnuncilmpmhprc Crain, Sick_ The following voted against or abstained: ane Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
