HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-232CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Revular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day 1b of April , 1986. The following members were present: Mayor c ne er, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur i'ne roilowing members were absent: none COuncilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-232 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON 'nM PROPOSED VACATION OF SIGHT EASEMENT LOT 24, BLACK 1, CREEKWOOD HILLS 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Joe Finley has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following sight easement: Commencing at a point along the Southerly right-of-way line of the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railway distant 33 feet West of the intersection of said right-of-way line with the East line of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 11; thence South along a line parallel to the East line of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 11 a distance of 150 feet; thence Northwesterly on a straight line to a point in said Southerly right-of-way line distant 150 feet West of the point of beginning; thence East along said Southerly right-of-way line to the point of beginning. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 19, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by COuncilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ Mayor Schneider, COuncilmemers Grain Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
