HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-231CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Rg9ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21st day of_ April , 1986. The following members were present: _Mayor Schneider_ Councilmembgrs Crain, Sisk. Vasiliou and 7it„r The following members were absent: none *�►�t *,nom *** Cnuncilmemher Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 232 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 609 47TH AVENUE - WEST OF TAMMIE MIDDLEMIST ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 21, 1986 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 47th Avenue - Between Quinwood Lane and West Medicine Lake Drive by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral, watermain lateral, and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and ' WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 19th day of May, 1986 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Cent�.r, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the ufficial newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel �'-!scribed in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember 7itur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain_ Sisk- Vasiliou and 7itur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
