HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-230CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21stday of April , 1986. The following members were present: _ avnr Schneider, Qun_cilmonbPrs C ain_ Sisk_ Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none * Hk * *** Cnuncilme+nher Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 230 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT TAMMIE MIDDLEMIST ADDITION - STREET LIGHTING WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 21, 1986 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Pineview Lane, 48th Avenue North and 49th North in the Tammie Middlemist Addition by the installation of ornamental street lighting WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 19th day of May 1986 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing end shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain- Sisk. Vasiliou and 2itur The following voted against or abstained: _ none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
