HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-228CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21ct day 91 of April , 1986. The fc?lowing members were present: Mavnr Sthnpidpr, Cnuncil , herc rrain. Sjqk,_ Vasilinu and Zitur The following members were absent: none Cnuncilmenher Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-228 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL TAMMIE MIDDLEMIST ADDITION - STREET LIGHTING WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Pineview Lane, 48th Avenue North, and 49th Avenue North of the Tammmie Middlemist Addition by the installation of ornamental residential street lighting and the contract price for such improvement is $37.75 per month to be collected on a monthly basis for as long as the lights are in operation. The total cost of the improvement is therefore $37.75 per month; and of this cost the City will pay $-0- (zero) as their share of the cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY CCOUNCIL OF rdE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 01. The cost of such improvement to be special assessments hereby declared to be $37.75 per month for an ongoing length of time. 2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The follow4ng voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
