Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 21St` day of
April , 1986. The following members were present:
MayQr Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk. Vasilinu and 7itur _
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 224
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1986 STREET SURFACING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council as follows:
1. Project No. 225 - 45th Avenue between Nathan Lane and Zachary Lane

The City's Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6 Associates, Inc.,
has prepared plans and specifications for bituminous street, concrete curb and
gutter and all necessary appurtenances, and
WHEREAS, the City council has authorized the combining of the above referenced
projects for bidding purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for their approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement
for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved
plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on
the 15th day of May, 1986, at which time they will be publicly
opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center
building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the
City Manager and the City Engineer and that no bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or
certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vg voted
and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
