The following members were present:Ma— �r�chneider, ounce mem ers rain=isk, Vasiliou and Zitur , The owing vwedmrs were sent: none RRR RRA RRR Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 222 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRIBUTION TO SUNSET HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, Sunset Hill Elementary School has requested a contribution of $10,000 from the City of Plymouth for improving the playground equipment at Sunset Hill, and WHEREAS, School District 284 has budgeted $25,000 toward this project, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and found this request to be in conformance with the Comprehensive Park System Plan, and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has recommended favorably Loward this contribution, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposal and recommendation from the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Finance is authorized to allocate up to $10,000 from the park dedication account 219-219 for the playground at Sunset Hill Elementary School contingent upon the following: 1. The City receiving an itemized cost breakdown for each item and firm commitments on volunteer labor and equipment, 2. All school district funds, including PTA contributions, are to be spent first on this project, 3. The school district shall provide a letter indicating they accept all responsibility for the installation and maintenance of the equipment and liability for its use. Resolution N 86-222 Page 2 4. The City shall have the option of supplying labor and equipment for any of the items that need to be accomplished. This shall be determined by the Director of Parks and.Recreation.
