Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t 71h day of

Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its a tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 198
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH AND THE CITY OF WAYZATA FOR RECREATIONAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Wayzata wishes to provide recreation programs to its
residents for the summer of 1986, and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth provides year-round full-time recreational
services to the City of Plymouth residents, and
WHEREAS, a joint powers agreement between the City of Plymouth and Wayzata
has been agreed upon for the provision of recreational services by the City
of Plymouth to the City of Wayzata, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wayzata and the City Council of the
City of Plymouth have reviewed said agreement and find it to be beneficial
to each City,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Manager & Mayor are authorized to enter into a
joint powers agreement for the provision of recreational services by the
City of Plymouth Park and Recreation Department to the City of Wayzata
for the summer of 1986. Said agreement is contingent upon the City of Plymouth
receiving written confirmation from the City of Wayzata's insurance under-
writers naming the City of Plymouth, its employees and agents as co-insured
for all aspects of this joint powers agreement.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Zitur and�� taken
