HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-195CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Raqlgr meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of April , 1986. The following members were present: r Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: nnnp Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86- 195 ORDLRING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF DUNKIRK LANE WITHIN THE GLEASON NORTH ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Gary and Julie Grenzer have petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following street right-of-way: That part of Dunkirk Lane as dedicated in GLEASON NORTH, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof, described as follows: Beginning at the most westerly, northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1 of said GLEASON NORTH, said point being on the southerly extension of the center line of Dunkirk Lane; thence North 83 degrees 38 minutes 04 seconds East, along the North line of said Lot 4 a distance of 33.33 feet to the corner of said Lot 4; thence North 1 degree 44 minutes 04 seconds East, along the West line of said Lot 4, a distance of 56.34 feet, to the northwest corn r of said Lot 4, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 3 of said Block 1; thence southwesterly 68.61 feet, along a tangential curve, concave to the northwest, having a radius of 64.93 feet, a chord of 65.46 feet said chord bearing South 32 degrees 00 minutes 18 seconds West, to the center line of Dunkirk Lane; thence -outh 1 degree 44 minutes 04 Peconds West, along the center line of Dunkirk Lane 4.50 feet, to the point of beginning. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFOPI , BE IT HEREBY RESOLVzZ BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 5, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmember Lrain, Sisk Vasiliou and Zitur Zip following voted against or abstained: none Wh eres!pon the Resolution was declared duly passed end adopted.
