Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, s regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day
of��A�P �� �, 1985. The following members were present:
Mayor SChneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: none
Couneilmember Sisk, introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-183
ADOFTING ASSESSMENT
1985 REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council
has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments
for 1985 removal of diseased tree charges as provided for by the City
Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special
assessment against the land named therein and each tract of land herein
included is hereby bound to be identified by the amount of the assessment
levied against it.
2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year.
. 3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director
by May 7, 1986 without additional charge. After May 7, 1986 daily
interest charge based on an annual rate of 9.36% s::arting on April 7,
1986 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a
payment can be accepted by the City of Plymoc.tih is November 15, 1986.
After that date interest shall be added from the date of this resolution
until December 31, 1987 and payment can only be made to Hennepin County
with the 1987 property taxes.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper
tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid
over the same manner as other municipal taxes.
5. The total cost of the 1985 removal of diseased tree charges assessed by
this resolution are $1,458.60.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cf1war.ilwa-ker. 71 and upon vote being taken thereon, the
