HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-172CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 31St day of March , 1986. The following members were present: Manor Schneider, Councilmemhers Crain. Sisk. Vasiliou and 7itirr The following members were absent: Cnuncilmpmher 7itur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-172 REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT TRAFFIC SIGNAL WARRANT STUDY COUNTY ROAD 6 AND DUNKIRK LANE WHEREAS, the City Council has received concerns from residents in the City of Plymouth concerning the delay in accessing County Road 6 from Dunkirk Lane; and WHEREAS, County Road 6 is under the jurisdiction of the Hennepin County Department of Transportation; and WHEREAS, If additional traffic control is warranted, it must be approved by the Hennepin County Department of Transportation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 10PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it requests the Hennepin County Department of Transportation to undertake the necessary traffic study at the intersection of County Road 6 and Dunkirk Lane to determine if additional traffic control is warranted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitu The following voted against or abstained:. nnne Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
