HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-164CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a SpeCial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10 z1,+ day of Marro , 1986. Sick - The following members were absent: aONe *� �kdkdr ,kakk - r_nunrilmamhar Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 86- 164 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 544 FERNBROOK LANE NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD 9 TO 46TH AVENUE WHEREAS, Pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted October 10, 1985, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of Fernbrook Lane, from County Road 9 to 46th Avenue; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, drainage improvements and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on February 24, 1986; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 10 PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,306,110.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 21st day of April, 1986 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. 3. The report is referred to the Special Assessment Committee for a recommendation on assessments to benefited property. TL a motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Va5iliOu , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
