Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a snprial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the _31,t- day of
March , 1986. The following members were present:

its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-163
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT 008-001
PIKE LAKE AREA TRUNK SEWER, PHASE II
WHEREAS, Pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted November 19, 1979 a
report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc.
with respect to the improvement of the following:
Installation of the Pike Lake Interceptor Sewer from the existing
lift station near 60th Ave. and Goldenrod Lane (Point 31 on the
Comprehensive Sewer Plan) easterly to the intersection of County
Road 10 and County Road 18 (Point 34).
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 80-114 adopted February 11, 1980 the City Council
separated the project into two phases and Phase I was ordered and constructed.
. WHEREAS, byr Resolution No. 85-653 adopted August 26, 1985 the City Council
directed that the consulting engineer revise and update the project report for
Phase II; and
WHEREAS, said reports were received by the Council on January 21, 1980 and
December 2, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such sanitary sewer
in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953,
Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $653,400.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on
the 21st day of April, 1986 in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, at 7:30 p.m.,
and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvements as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain.
Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
