Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a— Special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, Was held on the 31st day of March 1986.
. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider,o Rcilmembers Crain,
Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The
following members were absent: none
Councilmember Zitur introduoed the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86-162
APPROVING A HOME OCCUPATION CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THELMA LEE SHEPPERD (86017)
WHEREAS, Thelma Lee Shepperd has requested a Home Occupation Conditional Use Permit to
operate a beauty shop in her home at 415 Harbor Lane; and,
WHEREAS, `.,he Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Thelma Lee Shepperd for
a Home Occupation Conditional Use Permit to operate a beauty shop in her home at 415
Harbor Lane, subject to the following conditions:
1. The -ermit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and Ordinances, and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.
. 2. The permit is issued to Thelma Lee Shepperd as operator of the facility and shall
not be transferable.
3. The site shall be maintained in a sanitary manner.
4. There shall be no signage allowed on the property relative to the use.
5. There shall be no outside display, sales, or storage of merchandise or related
materials.
6. The permit shall be renewed in one year to assure compliance with the conditions.
7. A copy of the current State license shall be provided prior to issuance of the
Permit and shall be kept on file with the City.
8. Compliance with applicable Building and Fire Code requirements shall be verified
by the City prior to Permit issuance.
9. All parking shall be off-street in designated areas which comply with the Zoning
Ordinance.
10. The petitioner shall be the only operator; there shall be no other employees.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
