HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-141CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of March 1986. . The following members were present: Mayor Schneider�ounci1members Grain, Sisk, Zitur and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none �f fff sft Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-141 APPROVING LOT CONSOLIDATION, LOT DIVISION, AND VARIANCES FOR RICK RADECKI (86007) WHEREAS, Rick Radecki has requested approval for Lot Consolidation, Lot Division, and Variance to create three parcels at 2735 Kilmer Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planninq Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; WHEREAS, the City Council has found that there is an abnormal lot arrangement, the re- sulting residential density is considerably lower than normal, the subject property abuts parkland, and the resulting lot sizes and shapes are consistent with those in the neighborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the requested variance and the following: • EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION Lots 1 and 2, Block 3, Klausman's Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota To be Consolidated and Divieid as follows: PARCEL A: That part of Lot 1, Block 3, KLAUSMAN'S ADDITION, according to said plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota ly- ing northerly of the following described line; commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 1; thence southerly alonq the west line of said Lot 1, 120.74 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence easterly, deflecting to the left 97 degrees 38 minutes 23 seconds, 154.60 feet to a point on the easterly line of said Lot 1 distant 44.26 feet northerly of the southeast corner of said Lot 1 as measured along said easterly line ay.d said line there terminating. PARCEL C: That part of Lot 2, Block 3, KLAUSMAN'S ADDITION, according to said plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota lying southerly of the following described line; commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence notherly along the west line of said Lot 2, 115.26 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence easterly deflecting to the right 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds, 169.56 feet to a point on the easterly line of said Lot 2 distant 112.63 feet northerly of the southeast corner of said Lot 2, as measured along said easterly line and said line there terminating. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of the foragoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon the folrow�ig voted In favor thereof: Mayor SEnneider, Councilmembers Crain, Sisk, Mur, and Vasiliou ffo voted against or abstained: nnne----Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
