HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1986-128CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of March , 19. The following members were present: Mayor Schnei der _ Co nci lme:nb rs Crain- Sisk, Vasiliou and Zitur The following members were absent: none Councilmember Zitur Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86-128 APPROVING SITE PLAN AND VARIANCFS FOR R. JOHNSON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR CHESLEY CARLSON COMPANY (85137) WHEREAS, R. Johnson Construction Company has requested approval of a Site Plan and Variances for Chesley Carlson Company to construct an office/manufacturing/warehouse facility southeast of Northwest Boulevard and Campus Drive; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for R. Johnson Construction Company for a Site Plan and Variances to construct an office/manufacturing/warehouse facility southeast of Northwest Boulevard and Campus Drive, subject to the followiny conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum 2. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication in accordance with the Dedi- cation Policy in effect at the time of Building Permit issuance. 3. Compliance with Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations for new structures on sites adjacent to, or containing any open storm water drainage facility. 4. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement for com- pletion of site improvements to include the bus pullover. 5. Any signage shall be in compliance with the Ordinance. 6. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 7. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the structure and no outside storage is permitted. 8. No Building Permit to be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded with Hennepin County. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 86-128 9. Approved Variances include the omission of a fire lane on the west side of the building and, to allow 47.7 % impervious surface in the Shoreland Management Area. 10. At the time the City finds a need for the remaining 61 Ordinance required parking spaces to be constructed, the owner shall provide this parking in accordance with the approved site plan. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the f'o lowing voted n avor -thereof: Mayor Schni7der, Councilmembers Crain, yjaj _ Zitur he�olto v voted against or abstained: none Whereupon: the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted
