The owing members were sent: none Cou,.J lmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 86- 122 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT 3005 EAST MEDICINE LAKE BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has a Comprehensive Trail System Plan which calls for the development of a Regional trail on the east side of Medicine Lake, and WHEREAS, the property at 3005 East Medicine Lake Boulevard falls within the pro- posed trail corridor, and WHEREAS, said property has been offered for sale by the owner, and WHEREAS, the Suburban. Hennepin Regional Park District is unable to fund the acquisition of the property at this time, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth believes it is important to preserve this property for future trail use, and WHEREAS, the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District has agreed to reimburse the City of Plymouth for all acquisition costs associated with said acquisition, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the acquisition of property at 3005 East Medicine Lake Boulevard with the following conditions: 1. The cost of the acquisition shall be $25,000 plus one-half the taxes due and payable in the year 1986. 2. The Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District agrees to reimburse the City of Plymouth for all costs incurred on this project including the interest. 3. The Park District agrees to demolish and remove the house at 3005 East Medicine Lake Boulevard within 12 months from the date of acquisition. 4.
