Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day
of February, 1986. The following members were present:
Mayor chneider. Councilmembers Crain.Sisk. Vasiliou and 71tur
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and saved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 115
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - PARKERS LAKE FARM SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Kenneth Peterson requesting
installation of ornamental residential etteet lighting in the Parkers Lake Farm
Second Addition
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Parkers Lake Farm
Second Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street
lighting, filed with the City Council on February 24, 1986 is hereby
declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance
to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and
they have waived their rights to public improvement and special
assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advisirg the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as reco®ended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember 71tur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain_
Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
